Who We Are
Northbend Church is a family of individuals who meet together that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom. No matter who you are or where you come from, we want you to experience life change with others!
Where we come from
Northbend Church was started by Pastor Jason & Hollie Simpkins in their home. The original “house church” was located near where the Mason location stands today. It started as something small and grew into several families meeting every week. These families imagined a church that was truly welcoming to everyone - where every person had a seat at the table regardless of their past, history, family background, ethnicity, or gender.
We then built our first church building and hosted our first service in the building in February 2007. After a few years in our building, we had seen so much growth that we had to move our Sunday Services to Wahama High School! We had a portable church there every Sunday for 52 weeks while we expanded our existing building into the new, larger facility that we have today.
Where we're headed
More than ever, Northbend Church is committed to reaching the area with the message of Jesus Christ. We believe that God is not finished with us yet and that we are just getting started. As we move forward as a church, we have plans of expanding our reach into even more communities.
